The Migrant Workers Office in Dubai (MWO-Dubai) continues to provide assistance to Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) affected by the ongoing situation in the United Arab Emirates. In line with its mandate to protect the rights and promote welfare of Filipino migrant workers, the office offers airport, transportation, accommodation, counselling, financial, legal guidance, and other forms of assistance to workers needing support from the MWO.
MWO-Dubai is also coordinating with foreign principals, Tadbeer centers, and relevant authorities to monitor the situation of OFWs, help resolve issues, and support affected workers.
The MWO, through the guidance of the Philippine Consulate General in Dubai and Northern Emirates, assures the Filipino community that the Philippine government remains committed to safeguarding the welfare and rights of OFWs in the UAE.
