Due to the increasing instances of minimum age violations of hiring of Filipino domestic workers, MWO Dubai reiterates the existing rules and regulations governing their recruitment and deployment. As stated under POEA Governing Board Resolution No. 14, series of 2007, and reaffirmed in POEA Advisory No. 43, series of 2022, the minimum age requirement for the deployment of Filipino domestic workers has been increased from 23 years old to 24 years old.
Violation of such rules may merit the following consequences under Department Circular No. 1, entitled Promulgating the 2023 Department of Migrant Workers Rules and Regulations Governing the Recruitment and Employment of Landbased Overseas Filipino Workers:

The minimum age requirement for Filipino Domestic workers has been a long-standing policy that is being observed by the Migrant Workers Offices (MWOs) worldwide and may allegation by TADBEER centers of its non-enforcement is baseless. Moreover, Filipino domestic workers may still exit the UAE legally, but their employment documents will not be verified due to the minimum age violation, resulting to the non-issuance of an exit clearance.
Any misinformation of the preceding paragraph by TADBEER centers will be dealt with accordingly.
