OWWA MEMBERSHIP APPLICATION

By virtue of R.A. 10801 or the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration Act of 2016, the OWWA became a
national government agency vested with the special function of developing and implementing welfare programs and
services that respond to the needs of its member-OFWs and their families.
The OWWA is an attached agency of the Department of Migrant Workers (DMW) as per R.A. 11641, S. 2021.

The public is hereby informed that the following are the REQUIREMENTS FOR OWWA MEMBERSHIP/RENEWAL:

1. BOOK FOR AN APPOINTMENT AT http://www.polodubaiportal.org/appointments/
2. ORIGINAL PASSPORT
3. MWO VERIFIED CONTRACT
4. VISA VALIDITY SHOULD BE MORE THAN 90 DAYS AND OFW MUST BE ACTIVELY AND CONTINUOUSLY WORKING.
5.  OFW MUST PRESENT A CERTIFICATION FROM THE COMPANY ISSUED WITHIN THE LAST THIRTY(30) DAYS WITH COMPANY STAMD SIGNATURE.
6. PERSONAL APPEARANCE ONLY.
7. PAY EXACT AMOUNT OF 92 DIRHAMS ONLY

What is OWWA Mobile APP?

OWWA Mobile App is an application for OFWs who are members of OWWA. The OWWA app can verify and renew OWWA memberships. It also includes the OWWA’s programs and services that are available for the OFWs and their families.

For the new User

First, verify the account by clicking on the “verify your account here” link and accomplish the required field such as your Last Name, First Name, Middle Name among others.  And click on the verify button. (Reminder: you must indicate your active and correct e-mail address)

If the verification is successful, you will receive an e-mail notification with username and password which you can use to log-in to the OWWA App.

The OWWA App Interface

Upon logging in, you can access the following:

• Personal Information Tab, where you can view your membership status (Active or Inactive), payment history, latest employment contract, and other personal details.

• News tab, where you can see the latest updates on OWWA’s program and services, and Facebook page.

• E-card Tab, where you can access your digital ID.

• Hotline Tab, you can view contact numbers of OWWA’s central, regional and overseas offices.

• Program and Services Tab, where you can request for an emergency assistance, and view or inquire about the programs and services of OWWA.

Steps in Renewing Your OWWA Membership

1. Upload Documents: You’ll need to upload your most recent Overseas Employment Certificate (OEC) and passport, along with proof of employment such as a valid emirates ID, employment contract, employment certificate, work visa, or latest payslip.
2. Document Evaluation: After uploading, your documents will undergo an evaluation process. You’ll be notified via your registered email address once they are approved for payment.

3. Payment & Contract Details: Once approved, you can proceed to pay for your OWWA membership renewal. You’ll then be directed to provide details of your employment contract, including your employer’s or company name, contract duration (typically 24 months), position, and country of work/job-site.
4. Select Payment Option: Finally, choose from the available payment options to complete your renewal.

Important Reminders:

• You can renew your OWWA membership up to 90 days before its expiration date, otherwise you may renew your OWWA membership through the nearest Overseas Welfare Office or Regional Welfare Office.
• Payments made through banks and e-wallets may take 1-3 banking days to reflect in the OWWA app.
• For new membership you are required to present your MWO-verified contract, emirates ID, and any of the following documents at the MWO-Dubai:
  • latest certificate of employment;
  • latest payslip; and
  • latest salary certificate.
